India captain Rohit Sharma was once again caught delivering one of his classic comments on Day 2 of the India vs England second Test in Visakhapatnam on Saturday, February 03. During the 26th over of the England innings, the India captain was hilariously seen consulting the on-field umpire Marais Erasmus on whether he should take a review or not.
The incident took place on the last ball of the over as Jasprit Bumrah hit Jonny Bairstow on his pads with a yorker on his very first delivery. The entire Indian team went up for appeal but the umpire Marais Erasmus didn’t raise his finger. Hence, the Indian skipper began consulting with the wicketkeeper KS Bharat and Bumrah about whether they should go for a review or not. While consulting with his players, he even hilariously asked the umpire saying “Marais, what do you think?.”

Following Jaiswal’s blast with the bat, England found themselves on the receiving end of a reverse swing masterclass as Jasprit Bumrah ran through their batting order registering his best figures in India.
