Former Indian fast bowler and match referee Javagal Srinath was involved in a funny incident during the toss time of the second ODI between India and South Africa. After Sanjay Manjrekar welcomed everyone for the match, both the skippers were present for the toss alongside Srinath and Manjrekar asked about who has got the coin to spin.
Shikhar Dhawan and Keshav Maharaj both looked at each other for a second in confusion and then realised that Srinath is yet to hand them the coin. Srinath saw the funny side of it too, while Dhawan and Maharaj had a good smile about it.

Meanwhile, South Africa's stand in skipper Maharaj won the toss and chose to bat at the JSCA International Stadium Complex in Ranchi. South Africa made three changes to their lineup with regular skipper Temba Bavuma missing out due to fitness issues. Lungi Ngidi and Tabraiz Shami made ways for Anrich Nortje and Bjorn Fortuin while Reeza Hendricks replaced Bavuma in the playing XI.
"We are gonna have a bat, looks like a good wicket. Shamsi and Temba didn't wake up feeling too well this morning, so Reeza Hendricks and Bjorn Fortuin are coming in for them. Hopefully we can try and utilize the conditions, assess it upfront and play it from there," Maharaj said at the toss.
As far as India is concerned, Ruturaj Gaikwad and Ravi Bishnoi missed out while Shahbaz Ahmed made his international debut. Washington Sundar also returned to the XI after a long time to extend the batting lineup. South Africa lead the three-match series 1-0 and it will be important for India to win the second game to keep the series alive.
