The India Women's batters have been the centre of attention in the three-match ODI series against Ireland Women. India captain Smriti Mandhana impressed in the last and final ODI with an incredible century, scoring 135 runs from just 80 deliveries and striking at 168.75 during her knock, which included 12 fours and seven towering sixes.

After scoring 41 and 73 in the first and second match of the series, respectively, Mandhana was confident of converting her starts into a big knock come the series finale. Leading from the front, she registered her 10th century in the format, continuing the dream run of form she finds herself in. Reaching the landmark off just 70 balls, this also became the fastest-ever century by an India batter in WODIs, breaking the record of her senior and regular skipper Harmanpreet Kaur, who reached the milestone off just 87 balls during a home series against South Africa in 2024, played at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

Check out Mandhana’s century moment:

Harmanpreet features twice in the list of top five fastest hundreds for the Women in Blue, scoring a century in 90 deliveries against Australia Women in 2017. Apart from her, two other young and upcoming players feature in the list. Jemimah Rodrigues also scored a century in 90 deliveries in the previous game of the same series and Harleen Deol is the fifth on the list, completing her century in 98 deliveries against West Indies Women in 2024.

Apart from the centurion duo, Richa Ghosh also powered the total with a quick-fire half-century. This was the fourth-highest total overall, going past New Zealand Women's 418.
