India retain same squad for second Test against Bangladesh
India will take on Bangladesh on September 27 for the second Test in Kanpur.

Team India registered a brilliant win against Bangladesh in the first Test of the ongoing series. Both sides locked horns at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, in Chennai, on September 19, and the hosts put in an excellent performance throughout the four days, registering an emphatic win.
After a win in the first Test, both India and Bangladesh will now shift their focus to the second Test. For the second Test of the series, India and Bangladesh will take on each other at the renowned Green Park Stadium, in Kanpur, from Friday, September 27.
Ahead of the start of the second Test, the BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) came forward and announced the squad for the second Test. It is worth noting that the same squad will be travelling to Kanpur for the first Test, and there will be no changes made.

Speaking of the game, Team India came in to bat first, kicking off the Test series in Chennai. The side got off to a subpar start as the top order collapsed. However, R. Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja put in an excellent performance with the bat and helped India to a score of 339 runs in the first innings.

Ashwin scored 113 runs, hitting his sixth Test century. After posting 339 runs in the first innings, India limited Bangladesh to a meagre total of 149 runs and followed it up by scoring 287 runs and declaring. In doing so, the Rohit Sharma-led side gave a target of 515 runs for Bangladesh to chase.
Furthermore, the hosts put in an excellent performance with the ball and bundled Bangladesh on a score of 234 runs in the second innings, winning the game by 280 runs. Ashwin was adjudged the Player of the Match for his century in the first innings and six wickets in the second innings.
