India (IND) and New Zealand (NZ) are all set to kick off a three-game Test series. Both sides will lock horns in the first Test at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru from October 16. After the first Test in Bengaluru, both sides will gather in Pune for the second Test, and the third Test will be played in Mumbai. 

Recently, team India defeated Bangladesh in a two-game Test series, where the Rohit Sharma-led side managed to win both matches against Bangladesh, and with the race for a spot in the WTC final speeding up, India will look to defeat New Zealand as well, to solidify their chances even further. 

On the other hand, New Zealand will be coming into the series on the back of a two-test series loss to Sri Lanka. With a huge dent in their confidence, New Zealand will be facing an in-form Indian team, who are one of the top contenders for the WTC title.
