IPL 2024: Delhi Capitals 2nd innings highlights against SRH in Match 35
Sunrisers Hyderabad moved to second in the table with yet another huge win this time against Delhi Capitals
The first ever game at the Arun Jaitley Stadium saw massive runs being scored in the game 35 of the IPL 2024 between Delhi Capitals and Sunrisers Hyderabad of t. Rishabh Pant won the toss and chose to bowl first just like the previous game. Lalit Yadav and Anrich Nortje came in for Sumit Kumar and Ishant Sharma while SRH went in with the same side.
Batting first, Hyderabad posted 266/7 from their 20 overs. Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma stormed to 129 runs from 6 overs as the Delhi Capitals side were left stunned. Travis Head top scored with 89 runs off 46 balls while Shahbaz Ahmed scored 59 runs off 29 balls with 2 fours and 5 sixes.

Delhi Capitals: 50 runs from 3 overs
Washington Sundar was hit for four boundaries in the first four balls of the opening over. The SRH bowler then had Shaw caught by Abdul Samad for 16. Bhuvneshwar Kumar then dismissed David Warner for 1 caught by Pat Cummins. The third over of the innings saw Jake Fraser-McGurk hit Sundar for 30 runs to help Delhi reach 50 inside three overs.
Powerplay: Overs 0.1 to 6 and First Strategic Time-out (Mandatory – 88/2)
After losing two early blows, the home team showed their resolve with the bat. Abhishek Porel and Fraser-McGurk in particular unleashed their own shots to stun the SRH bowlers.
Half-Century: Jake Fraser McGurk from 15 balls
Sunrisers Hyderabad bowlers were taken to task by the young Aussie. With a six off Mayank Markande the young batter got to his got to his second IPL fifty in just 15 balls.

Delhi Capitals - 100 runs from 6.4 overs
Just a ball after reaching his half century, the Aussie batter hit Markande for yet another six. This got the home team to the 100 mark in just 6.4 overs needing 167 runs from 80 balls on what is a good batting wicket at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.
Delhi Capitals: 150 runs off 11.5 overs
The visiting side came back into the game thanks to the wickets of Fraser-McGurk and Abishek Porel. It was the turn of the skipper to join Tristan Stubbs to help DC get home to the total. With a wristy flick for four, DC reached 150 runs inside the 12th over.
Second Strategic Timeout: Delhi Capitals - 166/6 (15 overs)
The Delhi Capitals innings saw boundaries get dried up after the loss of Abhishek Porel. Rishabh Pant found it tough as the SRH bowlers began to vary their pace on the ball. Lalit Yadav was bowled by Natarajan for 7 to put one foot in the door of yet another win for the visitors.

End of the Match: SRH win by 67 runs
After a great start that raised hopes of a win, the Delhi batters faltered thanks to some incisive bowling from T Natarajan, who picked 4/19. The 67-run win meant that SRH now go to 2nd in the table, as Delhi were bundled out for 199 in 19.1 overs.
