POTM Rajat Patidar said:
"I was just keeping things in my mind that control the controllables. Whenever I go back home, I try to solve every problem which I faced. I go for skilful batting setup. Nothing like that (plan to target spin?). Today I was backing myself to be in good shape against every bowler," Patidar said.
Winning skipper Faf du Plessis said:
"Last two games, we've shown great signs of fight. SRH game was 270 plus, we got 260. KKR game as well - 1 run. We've been close for a while, but you need to win matches to get confidence as a group. Will sleep easier tonight. You can't speak confidence into the group, can't fake confidence into the group. Only thing that gives confidence is performances. The competition is so strong, the teams are so strong that you'll get hurt if you're not at 100 percent. More guys scoring runs now. First half of the tournament only Virat was scoring runs. Greeny scoring runs now will be massive for him. We know that Chinnaswamy, that's been a big frustration for us. It's a difficult ground to bowl at. We've tried to find a recipe for it, but it's tough," Faf said.
Losing skipper Pat Cummins said:
"Not an ideal night. Few over par with the ball and unfortunately lost a few wickets throughout our innings. We were gonna bat first, it seems to be working for us. Before the last few wins, we were thinking that we were a bowl-first team. Didn't go our way. (Message to the group) I speak after wins, Dan (Vettori) speaks after losses. The boys have been going really well, it's T20 cricket, you are not going to win every game. Don't dwell on this too much. (High risk, high reward approach with the bat) I think it's our strong suit. It's not going to work every game. One or two games where it hasn't gone our way at the start, we still managed to get a good total. Still think this is the way forward for our boys," Cummins said.

The Indian Premier League 2024 is now in its most crucial stage as teams gear up to qualify for the playoffs. In the 41st game of the season, the Sunrisers Hyderabad(SRH)will face off against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB)at their home ground. The Sunrisers will be aiming to climb up the points table after their victory against the Delhi Capitals in the previous match.
On the other hand, RCB have been struggling with poor form and succumbed to Kolkata Knight Riders in the last game. The last time these teams met, SRH had set a record for the highest team total by scoring 287 runs.
RCB have won only one out of eight matches and their bowling attack has been a worrisome factor. The management looks clueless about the team's performance. Meanwhile, the Sunrisers have had some big wins this season, and their batting lineup has been outstanding. It will be intriguing to see if RCB can rise to the challenge and keep their hopes alive for the next round with a win.
Pat Cummins' team is enjoying a dream run in IPL 2024. They won their last game against the Delhi Capitals by a margin of 67 runs, which has improved their NRR and chances of qualifying early for the playoffs. Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma are in great form and are expected to provide a strong start to the team. However, the team's bowling attack will face a tough challenge from RCB's strong batting lineup. To succeed, early wickets from Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Mayank Markande will be crucial.
Faf du Plessis' team is on the verge of elimination from the tournament. They suffered a one-run loss against KKR. The bowling attack has been struggling throughout the season, and now the team is hoping for a big win to stay technically in the hunt for a place in the playoffs.
On the other hand, RCB will need to focus on improving their bowling performance, which has been the weak link in the team. The team will rely on Mohammad Siraj and Yash Dayal to deliver a good spell with the new ball, while Lockie Ferguson and Karn Sharma must keep the scoring under control during the middle overs.
