Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) clashed against each other in the 19th match of IPL 2024 on Saturday at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur. RR won the toss and chose to bowl first. RCB gave a target of 183/3 in 20 overs, all thanks to star batter Virat Kohli who scored an unbeaten 113.
RR's chase got off to a shaky start as opener Yashasvi Jaiswal went back without scoring any runs. From there, skipper Sanju Samson and Jos Buttler took the game to the very end. Samson got out in the 15th over after smashing 69 runs. But it was Buttler who guided his team home with an unbeaten 100, making it the second of the evening as the hosts won the game by six wickets.

Though Virat Kohli's ton stole the show in the first innings, his efforts went in vain as RCB couldn't defend the total and lost their match against RR in IPL 2024 and increased his runs with 113 runs. However, he remains in the pole position for the Most Runs in IPL 2024 season. While Riyan Parag holds his second position after just adding four more runs to his tally. A new addition to this table is RR skipper Sanju Samson who scored a brilliant 69 and is in the third position with 178 runs.

Most Wickets in IPL 2024:
Star spinner Yuzvendra Chahal's spell helped his team to stop RCB from registering a huge total. Chahal who was in the fourth position before this game jumped directly to the first position after he ended with two wickets in the game. He now has eight wickets under his belt. Another RR bowler has entered the list, left-arm pacer Nandre Burger finds himself in the fifth position of the Most Wickets tally in the IPL 2024 season with six wickets.
