Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will be locking horns with Punjab Kings (PBKS) in Match 69 of the IPL 2024, at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, in Hyderabad, on (Sunday) May 19.

The forthcoming clash between SRH and PBKS holds divergent implications for the two teams. SRH will aim for a top-two finish while also hoping for a concurrent loss for Rajasthan Royals (RR) against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) later in the evening. Speaking of Punjab Kings (PBKS), they will only be playing for their pride as they are currently placed ninth in the IPL points table.

After SRH's recent match against the Gujarat Titans resulted in a complete washout on May 16, the possibility of a recurrence appears minimal. Despite let's assess the expected conditions on matchday and the potential consequences of another abandoned game for both teams.
