Virat Kohli gave an aggressive send-off to Rachin Ravindra during the opening game of IPL 2024.
Star India and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) batter Virat Kohli didn’t have a memorable start to his IPL 2024 campaign as he got dismissed for just 21 (20) in the opening fixture against Chennai Super Kings. Kohli failed to get going in his innings as he eventually holed out to deep mid-wicket to Ajinkya Rahane who completed a brilliant catch on the boundary.
However, more than Kohli’s low returns with the bat, his aggressive send-off to CSK opener Rachin Ravindra grabbed the attention of fans. Notably, Ravindra played a quick-fire knock of 37 (15) with the help of three fours and as man sixes in his innings got CSK off to an electrifying start in the chase. He was finally dismissed by Karn Sharma who got him caught at deep square leg.
