IPL 2025 Auction: AI-predicted 18-member squad for MI

The IPL 2025 auction is looming on the horizon; the mega event is all set to be held in Jeddah on November 24 and 25, and the 10 franchises will look to put in their best efforts to get the best players in their side ahead of the latest edition of the tournament.

One of the sides that the fans will keep an eye on would be the five-time champions Mumbai Indians. It is worth noting that MI retained the likes of Jasprit Bumrah, Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya, Tilak Varma, and Rohit Sharma. The side will go into the auction with INR 45 crore in their purse. 

Looking to rebuild their squad, AI was asked about the potential team that MI could field after the auction. It replied that MI could go with Trent Boult, Jos Buttler, Sam Curran, and many more in the auction.

Furthermore, the AI has also predicted that the side will once again rope in Tim David, Nehal Wadhera, Ravi Ashwin, and even Yuzvendra Chahal as well.

It is worth noting that the IPL 2024 was a forgettable affair for MI; the side failed to make it to the knockout stages of the tournament. The side finished in 10th place in the standings after they won just four out of the 14 matches. The side will hope that they can improve and put in a good showing in the IPL 2025, get their hands on their sixth IPL title, and establish their dominance in the tournament once more.
