Gujarat Titans are one of the newest teams in the IPL who are currently in their fourth year of the tournament. The team came into prominence in 2022 where they became only the second team to win the title in their debut season in 2022 and were the finalists in the 2023 season as well. Though they are a new franchise, they have still made big strides in their net worth and revenues.

The home-ground for the Titans is the Narendra Modi Stadium (Motera) which is located in Ahmadabad which also happens to be the largest stadium in the world with a capacity of approximately 132,000. The total market capitalization of the company as of September 2024 was over $25 billion. 33% of the team is owned by foreign company CVC Capital Partners, which is an investment advisory firm based out of Jersey.


Sponsorship deals and Total Revenue

One of the main sponsors of the Gujarat Titans is currently Dream11, which is currently one of the biggest fantasy gaming platforms in the world. They have renewed their partnership with insurance company Acko, entertainment platform District by Zomato and sports and lifestyle company PlayR. The team has also recently welcomed Pokémon as an official partner as well. All of this gives the Titans a total revenue of approximately INR 7,500 crore.


Ticketing Sales

The ticketing and sales of the Gujarat Titans are managed by District (App and Website), which was used as a platform to welcome back their fans to the Motera. Due to the large capacity of the venue, the ticketing sales have been relatively high for the franchise, and due to their early success, the venue mostly remains packed during the games.

The prize money the Gujarat Titans won after winning the title in 2022 was INR 20 crore. They also won an extra INR 13 Cr. In 2023 after finishing as the finalists. Though they did not manage to repeat the same success in the 2024 edition, this is still a lot of profit that any new team that came into the IPL.
