I would love to battle against Abhishek Sharma: Nitish Kumar Reddy

"This generation of Indian cricket has been shaped by legends like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and others. They have taken Indian cricket to new heights, and we aspire to carry forward their legacy. Players like Jasprit, Rohit, and Virat are truly golden assets to Indian cricket," Reddy said.

When asked about one bowler he would love to face, Nitish surprisingly took the name of Abhishek Sharma, whom he has faced in the nets in the SRH camp.

"I would love to battle against Abhishek Sharma. We have intense contests on the net, always challenging each other. I want to continue that competitive spirit in matches as well," Nitish added.

The SRH star has played three matches in the IPL 2025 so far. In the match against RR, he provided a good impetus to his side by scoring 30 off 15. Against LSG, he played a relatively cautious knock and scored 32(28). Against DC, the emerging player failed to score a run and bagged a silver duck.
