IPL 2025: Sunil Narine available for KKR's upcoming game against Mumbai Indians

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) star all-rounder Sunil Narine will be available for the upcoming game against Mumbai Indians (MI) on March 31 at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. He missed out on the previous game against the Rajasthan Royals (RR) due to ill health. KKR's newcomer and all-rounder, Moeen Ali, replaced the player in the game.

He had a good time with the bowl, claiming two wickets in four overs. However, with the bat, it wasn't an up-to-the-mark game for the player. He could only score five runs in 12 balls and was run out in the seventh over. Chasing a score of 152 runs, Quinton de Kock wreaked havoc on the RR bowlers. The player hit an unbeaten 97 runs off 61 balls, including eight boundaries and six sixes. 

RR looked clueless throughout the entire game, failing with the bat and the ball simultaneously. During the chase, the bowlers had a tough time dismissing the batters. It was only Wanindu Hasaranga who dismissed Ajinkya Rahane in the 11th over.

Under captain Riyan Parag, RR lost both their games, finding themselves at the bottom of the table. They have their third match against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium, Guwahati, on March 30. The game will be a contest because both teams are having a tough time finding a good combination for the playing XI. 

KKR started their tournament on a losing note, but they made up for that loss against RR with a magnificent win. Now, their next target will be MI, who aren't having a good time this season. The Kolkata-based franchise has a balanced side in the likes of players like Quinton de Kock, Sunil Narine, skipper Ajinkya Rahane, Varun Chakaravarthy, and many more. With this line-up, they have a stronger chance of winning the game.
