Indian Premier League 2025 mega auctions will be held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on November 24 and 25. All the franchises have already submitted their retentions list on October 31. Among all the franchises, Punjab Kings will enter the auction with the biggest sum in their purse as they have INR 110.5 crore in their kitty. Royal Challengers Bengaluru will enter the auction, with INR 83 crore being the team with the second-highest purse.

Mallika Sagar is back as the auctioneer for the mega auctions, same as the mini auction held for the previous year. Mallika has also been at the helm of both the editions of the Women's Premier League (WPL) Auctions (2023 & 2024) so far.

On the other hand, Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals have retained six players each. This leaves them with no option of using the Right to Match (RTM) card. For the unversed, BCCI had allotted 120 crore each for the every team as the purse amount. The amount of retained players' salary got deducted from the purse of every team and they have to make the most out of the remaining purse to bolster a strong squad for IPL 2025.
