IPL 2024 Playoffs Tickets: Online Booking for IPL Qualifiers, Eliminator, and Final Matches, Date, Ticket Price List, Stadium-wise Availability
The Phase 1 tickets will be exclusively available to fans making payment through a RuPay card.
After a crackerjack of league stage games in the league, the Playoffs for the 17th edition of the Indian Premier League is all set to commence shortly. As a result, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the sale of tickets for the IPL 2024 Playoffs, which will go live for an exclusive sale starting Tuesday, May 14.
This time round, the Playoffs will be hosted at the grandeur of the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad and the historic MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai. In fact, the latter will also host the IPL 2024 Final, as the summit clash is usually played at the home venue of the defending champions, and the title is currently with Chennai Super Kings, who won their record-equalling fifth IPL trophy in 2023 against Gujarat Titans.
Ahead of the Playoffs, the fans of different franchises will be super-excited to get their hands on the tickets and witness the spectacle live, as the league stage of the contest is getting intense. Notably, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have already booked a seat in the Qualifier 1 to be played in Ahmedabad after their match against GT on Monday, May 13 was drawn by rain, taking the two-time champions to 19 points after 13 games.
Now, only three spots are up for grabs for the IPL 2024 Playoffs, and as many as six teams including the likes of Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), Delhi Capitals (DC), Chennai Super Kings (CSK), and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). All the franchises have a maximum of two games remaining before they move into the top four, and thus, they will be looking to go all guns blazing for cementing their place up there.
IPL 2024: Qualification Scenario
It is worth mentioning that the Shreyas Iyer-led side will be playing the first qualifier at Motera and their opposition will be the other team in the top two after the end of league stage. Rajasthan Royals (RR) and SRH are the top contenders to face KKR for the important clash, as both of them have a couple of games remaining, which can take them to at least 18 points. However, if CSK win their remaining league stage game against RCB and RR or SRH lose their remaining games, the Ruturaj Gaikwad-led side will travel to Ahmedabad.
