The 17th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is all set to get underway on Friday, March 22 as Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore will take on each other at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai. Notably, the BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) have only announced the schedule for the first 21 matches of the tournament and the remaining will be announced soon keeping in mind the General Elections schedule.

Ahead of the season, all of the ten franchises have released the tickets for their home matches and fans can grab the priceless opportunity of watching their favourite stars in action. While most teams will have one home ground throughout the season, Delhi Capitals, Punjab Kings and Rajasthan Royals will have multiple venues for their home matches.

IPL 2024: Ticket price list

Notably, the Rishabh Pant-led side will be playing their first two home matches at Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium, Visakhapatnam as their home ground Arun Jaitley Stadium will take some time to get ready after the recently concluded WPL 2024. On the other hand, Punjab Kings will play their first home game in Chandigarh and then will move to Mohali for the next four matches and will later travel to Dharamsala to play their last two home games.

Meanwhile, Rajasthan Royals will play their first five home games of the season in Jaipur and will later travel to Guwahati to play their last two home games of the season.

IPL 2024 teams and online ticketing partner

The ticket prices for the upcoming season start at INR 399 and go all the way up to 42,300. The cheapest ticket prices are of the Lucknow Super Giants while the most expensive ones are of the Royal Challengers Bangalore which start at INR 3300. The ticketing partners for franchises are either bookmyshow or Paytminsider while only RCB have their tickets on their official website.

Steps for IPL 2024 Ticket booking online

In order to book online via bookmyshow or Paytm Insider, fans will have to visit their website and login or signup to make their process hassle free. Next, they will have to select their location, for example - one will have to select Kolkata as their location to book tickets for KKR matches. After selecting location, they will need to go under sports section and select tickets of their favourite teams and matches. Notably, fans can choose to get their tickets delivered or select the option of box office pickup as per their convenience.

How to Book IPL Tickets Offline?

So far, there's no information about the offline availability of the tickets. CSK's tickets will not be available offline at all, however, other franchises haven't conveyed any update on the matter so far.
