Mumbai, 7th March, 2024: The inaugural edition of the Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) kicked off on Wednesday. The tennis ball T10 cricket tournament features six teams, who will compete for the coveted trophy. The Falcon Risers Hyderabad will open their campaign against KVN Bangalore Strikers on March 7 at 7:30pm IST.
The Falcon Risers Hyderabad assembled a formidable team during the auction. The Hyderabad-based franchise is owned by renowned Businessman, Irfan Razack and Indian actor Ram Charan. At the auction, C Dhilip Ranjan was bought for INR 3.4L, making him one of the top 6 U-19 players in the league. Their most expensive players in the team are Jagat Sarkar, Krishna Satpute and Prathamesh Thakare, who went for INR 14L, 11.5L and 11L respectively.
The team will be led by Krishna Satpute, while Vishwajit Thakur will be his deputy. Anant Tambvekar has been appointed as the Head Coach, while Chetan Padiyar will be the assistant coach, Vishal Kalyankar is the batting coach, Dipu Patekar is team manager, and Lakshya Gupta and Omkar Aghav will take on the responsibilities of trainer and physio respectively.

A total of 18 matches will be played in the tournament with each team facing the other five sides once in a round-robin format. The top four teams will then qualify for the semi-finals. The winners of the two semi-finals will then clash in the ISPL 2024 final on March 15.

All matches of the Indian Street Premier League will be played at the Dadoji Kondadev Stadium in Thane, Mumbai.
