Jason Holder reveals his dream hat-trick in cricket
Jason Holder picked up a total of 351 wickets in international cricket.
West Indies international Jason Holder has picked the Indian trio of Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and KL Rahul as his dream hat-trick in cricket. India’s top three are often considered to be one of the most dangerous batters in white-ball cricket and thus, picking them all in one go will be indeed be a monumental achievement for any bowler.
Notably, the 31-year-old dismissed Indian skipper Rohit Sharma four times, KL Rahul three times and Virat Kohli six times in international cricket. “I'll go Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, KL Rahul,” he told ESPNcricinfo while talking about his dream hat-trick in cricket.
Interestingly, Holder already has a hat trick to his name in international cricket. Playing against England in 2022, the all-rounder picked up four wickets in four balls, dismisisng Chris Jordan, Sam Billings, Adil Rashid and Saqib Mahmood.
AB de Villiers is the toughest batter I’ve bowled to: Holder
The charismatic AB de Villiers is one of the most dangerous batters to ever grace the game. The former South Africa international had the ability to play shots in any part of the ground and thus, it was difficult for bowlers to get the better of him.
Holder could never find success against the former cricketer as he was smashed for 185 runs from 117 balls in international cricket by de Villiers. Thus, while talking about the modern-day great, the Caribbean all-rounder is the toughest batter he has bowled to.
“The most difficult batter I have ever bowled to, full stop, is AB de Villiers. Whether that be in a Test match, One Day game or T20,” Holder said.
Meanwhile, de Villiers is likely to make his return to cricket as multiple reports claim of him being a part of Royal Challengers Bangalore management in the upcoming Indian Premier League. He is likely to be appointed as the mentor of the side
