The 31-year-old looked solid from the first ball that he faced and later on in his innings he went completely berserk going for an all-out attack against the spinners.

Throughout his innings, the wicketkeeper batter never looked out of sorts as he smashed the bowlers all around the ground, compiling a hundred worth remembering. The innings was of such high class that the Master Blaster himself could not resist praising the South African batter.

Taking to Twitter the former India skipper pointed out that IPL is a collection of traditional as well as creative batting. The 50-year-old also praised Klaasen by that admitting to the fact that the wicketkeeper-batter’s footwork was very simple and also accepted that it was among the best that he had seen recently.

"IPL is a mix of creative and traditional batting. Today has been a Klaas-ic display of traditional batting. Klaasen’s footwork has been simple and uncomplicated, one of the best I’ve seen in the recent past. Treat to watch!" Tendulkar wrote on Twitter.
