India and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) wrist spinner Ravi Bishnoi took a stunning catch to dismiss Gujarat Titans’ Kane Williamson during Match 21 of Indian Premier League 2024 (IPL 2024) on Sunday, April 07 in Lucknow. Coming to bowl his first over, Bishnoi struck for his team immediately on just the second ball of his spell.
The 23-year-old bowled a flighted delivery outside off stump which Williamson failed to keep along the ground and chipped it in the air. Bishnoi, who was in his follow-through, jumped to his right and took a one-handed stunner to get rid of the GT batter. The wrist-spinner left everyone at the stadium awestruck with his athleticism as he did his trademark celebration after claiming the wicket.

Coming back to the match, after opting to bat first, LSG posted a good score of 163/5 in their allotted 20 overs courtesy of a half-century from Marcus Stoinis and vital contributions from Nicholas Pooran (32 off 22) and KL Rahul (33 off 31).

In reply, GT got off to a good start in the powerplay as their openers added 54 runs for the first wicket off 36 balls. However, they lost their way in the middle overs and were eventually bundled out for 130 with Yash Thakur starring with the ball by picking a fifer while Krunal Pandya scalped 3/11 in his four overs. On the other hand, Bishnoi registered figures of 1/8 in two overs.
