MS Dhoni was a fearless man and a motivated captain: Yograj Singh
Yograj has been a constant critic of the former Indian skipper in the past.
Yuvraj Singh's father, Yograj Singh, was effusive in praise of former Indian skipper MS Dhoni. The former right-arm medium pacer lauded Dhoni's analytical bent of mind.
“I find Dhoni as a very motivated captain, who can tell people what to do. The best thing about Dhoni was that he could read the wicket and tell bowlers where to bowl,” shared Yograj on Unfiltered by Samdish.

'What I liked the most about him was that he was a fearless man' - Yograj on Dhoni
Yograj recounted an incident from an Australia-India clash from the past where Dhoni's bravery stood out.
"What I liked the most about him was that he was a fearless man. If you remember in Australia, he was hit on the grill by Mitchell Johnson and he didn’t move a bit, he stood there and the next ball was pulled for a six. Aise log kaafi kam hote hai (there are very few people like him),” added Yograj.
Interestingly, Yograj's praise for Dhoni comes as a pleasant surprise after all the flak the latter has received from Yograj in the past.
“He should look at his face in the mirror. He is a very big cricketer, but what he has done against my son, everything is coming out now; it can never be forgiven in life," Yograj had said last year in an interview with Zee Switch’s YouTube channel. "I have never done two things in life—first, I have never forgiven anybody who has done wrong for me, and second, I have never hugged them in my life, be it my family members or my kids."
Speaking of their on-field partnerships, Yuvraj and Dhoni were a prolific duo. In 101 innings across formats where they were out in the middle, the two added 4299 partnership runs at an average of 45.52.
