Former Indian and Pakistan cricketers Harbhajan Singh and Kamran Akmal were recently captured having a chat in Birmingham. Both players met on the sidelines of the World Championship of Legends, where they were representing their respective countries.

In the clip that has been going viral all over social media, Akmal and Harbhajan were seen engaged in a conversation but were separated by an individual a few minutes later. Later on, Akmal gave an interview with Paktv and said, “I made a mistake, and that was the only topic discussed.”

He also said that the duo discussed Pakistan skipper Babar Azam being mocked by Harbhajan and revealed that the latter admitted that it was wrong of him to do so. It is also worth noting that the cricketers were recently involved in a fierce altercation during the 2024 T20 World Cup.

The incident happened due to Kamran Akmal making a remark on India pacer Arshdeep Singh. “Anything can happen. The last over will be bowled by Arshdeep Singh; he hasn’t looked in a great rhythm. And it is already 12,” Akmal had said.

In response, Harbhajan Singh took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to lambast the former Pakistan cricketer for his comments. “You should know the history of Sikhs before you open your filthy mouth. We Sikhs saved your mothers and sisters when they were abducted by invaders, the time invariably was 12 o’clock. Shame on you guys. Have some gratitude,” Harbhajan Singh tweeted.

Shortly after the social media post, Akmal took to the platform and apologised to Harbhajan Singh and stated that he had no intentions to harm the community.
