Nepal Squad for T20 World Cup 2024: Complete Player list and Squad Details

With the coveted T20 World Cup 2024 set to begin in just one month, there is a lot of excitement about the upcoming tournament. Most of the teams have named their team for the tournament and Nepal became the latest side to name theirs on Wednesday. 

Nepal has been one of the best upcoming teams in the recent times with their natural flair and talents. Dipendra Singh Airee in particular has shown his big-hitting talents with the bat in the shortest format of the game to become a household name. This year Nepal have been placed in Group D along with South Africa, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and the Netherlands. While the trio of South Africa, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh will be the hot favourites, the likes of Netherlands and Nepal will want to prove their worth as well. 

The Nepal side have been playing amazing cricket in the last few years and the team has become a force to be reckoned with. Rohit Paudel the young skipper will be leading the side with the likes of Kushal Malla and Kushal Bhurtel set to shore up the Nepali top-order.

Aasif Sheikh the wicketkeeper and batter will also bat in the top order and show the world why he is considered as a leading talent. The focus of the world will be on Dipendra Singh Airee who has earned the moniker of being a hard-hitting batter and more than decent talent with the ball in hand. The bowling will be led by Karan KC the experienced pacer who has the ability to bowl with a decent pace. Pratis GC, Sagar Dhakal, and Kamal Singh Airee will be the other key bowlers for Nepal during the T20 World Cup 2024.

Nepal so far have played 85 T20I games and won 49 of those matches and lost 34 with two games rendering no result. The 314/3 that they scored against Mongolia is their highest ever score with the 137 not out by Kushal Malla being the best ever score by a Nepali batter in the T20I format.
