New Zealand Cricket (NZC) has recently sent a delegation to Pakistan to assess the security arrangements for an ODI tri-series between Pakistan, New Zealand, and South Africa. The delegation included security expert Reg Dickason and New Zealand Players' Association representative Brad Rodden.

The duo visited Karachi and Lahore and are making notes about the security arrangements and if everything is in order for the upcoming series. It is worth noting that Pakistan will be hosting New Zealand and South Africa ahead of the Champions Trophy 2025, which will be held in a hybrid model.

Furthermore, just like representatives from the NZC, the delegation from the ICC has also reached Pakistan. They have made the visit for an inspection of preparations and the arrangements for the upcoming Champions Trophy. It is worth noting that the Indian team will be playing their matches of the Champions Trophy outside Pakistan, with the venue not decided yet.
