The victor between South Africa-Australia to face off India
Speaking of the performances, the Indian team put forth a brilliant one against New Zealand in the first semi-final of the ODI World Cup 2023. Posting 397 runs in the first innings, thanks to exceptional knocks by Virat Kohli and Shreyas Iyet, the Men in Blue performed similarly with the ball as well.
It was ace pacer Mohammed Shami who was the star for India. Taking seven wickets, Shami ensured that India won the game by 70 runs and made it to their fourth World Cup final. The hosts are still unbeaten in the tournament and they will be keen on keeping up the run alive to lift the trophy on November 19. On the other hand, the second semi-final of the World Cup saw South Africa take on Pat Cummins-led Australia at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Thursday, November 16.
