The heated argument between ace Indian batter Virat Kohli and Afghanistan pacer Naveen-ul-Haq in the 16th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) sent shockwaves across the cricket community. The 24-year-old pacer was subjected to major criticism for his behaviour against Kohli, and as Afghanistan travelled to India to compete in the ODI World Cup 2023, the battle between Kohli and Naveen was something that every fan anticipated.

However, it seemed like both players made amends, as they were seen hugging it out when India took on Afghanistan in the marquee event. With the issue now resolved, it seems like the Indian crowd has fully gotten behind Naveen-ul-Haq.

Evidently enough, when Afghanistan took on England at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in game 13 of the ODI World Cup 2023 on Sunday, October 15, the fans in the stadium were seen chanting the name of Naveen-ul-Haq, and in the viral video, the pacer is seen smiling and acknowledging the chants in a brilliant gesture as well.
