Pakistan and England will battle it out in a high-intensity three-match Test series which starts on December 1 at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. England previously visited the nation 17 years back in 2005 and this will be England's first Test tour since Michael Vaughan and his side toured the country.
Both teams have met a lot of times in the recent past including the T20 World Cup 2022 final where England ended up on the winning side and clinched the trophy.
Before the T20 World Cup 2022, England visited Pakistan for a seven-match T20I series and the Tests will be a continuation of the tour.
It was yet again the visitors who won the tight T20I series with a 4-3 scoreline. The hosts will be looking to seek revenge in the upcoming Test series. It will feature world-class players like Babar Azam and Ben Stokes leading their sides.
Pakistan played a three-match Test series at home against Australia this year and lost 1-0. Since then, they have made some changes to the squad - dropped notable names like Yasir Shah, Fawad Alam and Hasan Ali for the upcoming series.
On the other hand, England are coming off some brilliant wins in the longer format this year and they have adopted an aggressive brand of cricket since roping in Brendon McCullum as their red-ball head coach.
