Pakistan Shaheens schedule announced for multi-format series against Sri Lanka A
Previously, Bangladesh ‘A’ had also played two four-day matches and a three-match 50-over series in August in Islamabad.
Sri Lanka ‘A’ will tour to Pakistan for two four-day matches starting from November 11 to 21. They will subsequently play a three-match 50-over series on November 25, 27 and 29. Ahead of Sri Lanka A’s maiden tour to Pakistan, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced on October 27, that Islamabad Club will host the five-match red and white-ball series between Sri Lanka ‘A’ and Pakistan Shaheens in November.
Sri Lanka ‘A’ will land in Islamabad on November 7. They will indulge in three days of training before the first four-day game against Shaheens scheduled to commence from 11 November. The board also revealed that the three 50-over matches will be day-night games. This will be Shaheens’ second home series in three months as part of PCB’s investment in young talent. Previously, Bangladesh ‘A’ played two four-day matches and a three-match 50-over series in August in Islamabad.

The Shaheens also featured in the ACC Men’s T20 Emerging Teams Asia Cup in Muscat. They two four-day games against Bangladesh ‘A’ in Darwin, Australia. Followed by two 50-over matches against Northern Territory and Bangladesh ‘A’. They were also part of Top End T20 series.

Speaking of recent performances, Pakistan Shaheens faced Sri Lanka A in the semifinals of the ACC Men's T20 Emerging Teams Asia Cup at the Oman Cricket Academy Ground in Muscat on October 25. Sri Lanka A managed to beat the defending champions seven wickets to cruise into Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2024 final. Sri Lanka surpassed the 136 runs target provided by Shaheens with 21 balls to spare.
