Pakistan to host New Zealand as T20 World Cup prep

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially announced the exciting news of a five-match T20I series against New Zealand, scheduled for April. Caretaker government puts PCB under direct control of PM Office

In another recent development concerning the PCB and Pakistan cricket, caretaker Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar announced on Monday, February 19, that the Pakistan Cricket Board's (PCB) affairs have been directly placed under the control of the Cabinet Division. This significant administrative adjustment follows emerging issues between the cricket governing body and the Ministry of Inter-Provincial Coordination (IPC).

"Prime Minster in terms of rule 3 of the rules of Business 1973, has been pleased to transfer the administrative control of PCB from IPC to Cabinet Division. Therefore, the PCB stands transferred to Cabinet Division," read a notification issued on Monday.
