Currently, both Bangladesh and Pakistan find themselves at the wrong end of the WTC standings.
Bangladesh is all set to tour Pakistan for a short tour, which could go a long way in improving their World Test Championship standings.
The tour includes two Test matches, with the first set to start at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on August 21, and the second at the same venue from August 30. The second Test was intially slated to be held in Karachi, but it was moved to Rawalpindi due to the construction work going on at the venue in preparation for the upcoming Champions Trophy 2025.
Currently, both Bangladesh and Pakistan find themselves at the wrong end of the WTC standings. While the former are at the eighth spot with one win in four Tests, Pakistan are at the sixth place, having won two and lost three in the total five matches they have played.
Bangladesh will hope to improve their standing while Pakistan be keen to register a clean sweep at home and make a strong case in the Championship.
