Pakistan's Imam-ul-Haq asks Jasprit Bumrah to remove elbow straps while bowling

During the high-intensity Asia Cup match in the Super Fours stage, India started their batting innings impressively, setting a massive target of 357, courtesy of brilliant hundreds from Virat Kohli and KL Rahul. As Pakistan's openers took their turn to the crease, Imam-ul-Haq requested Jasprit Bumrah to remove his elbow straps while bowling, citing concern.

Earlier In the match, India had a fantastic start batting first. The opening pair of Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill gave a solid start to the team, scoring 56 and 58 runs respectively in quick time.

After their dismissal, KL Rahul and Virat Kohli formed a remarkable partnership for the fourth wicket, contributing 122 and 111 runs, respectively. Together, they stitched a massive partnership of 233 runs. Kohli's innings included nine fours and three sixes, while Rahul hit 12 fours and two sixes.

Pakistan had a challenging task ahead of them while chasing the target set by India. Their openers struggled against the exceptional bowling of India's new ball bowlers, particularly Jasprit Bumrah, as his swing, pace, and bounce proved to be too much for the Pakistani batters to handle in favourable conditions.

Bumrah quickly dismissed Imamul Haq, who scored only nine runs off 18 balls. Later, Hardik Pandya, who came on as the first change bowler, continued to maintain pressure on the Pakistani batters. 

He eventually ended the poor inning of Pakistan's captain, Babar Azam, who scored only ten runs off 24 balls. Pandya clean bowled Azam with an inswinger that seamed late and disturbed his stumps.

Unfortunately, rain interrupted the match in the 11th over, causing a halt in play. Fans are hopeful for the match to resume, but it will depend on the weather conditions.
