Harmanpreet Kaur breathed fire during the post-match presentation ceremony as she was fuming after some dubious umpiring decisions dented India's chances of an ODI series win against Bangladesh. The third ODI at the Shere Bangla National Cricket Stadium was a riveting affair as all players tried to showcase their skills to the best of their abilities. The match eventually ended in a tie and the teams shared the series with one win each.

Chasing 226 to win, India lost a couple of wickets early but Smriti Mandhana and Harleen Deol formed a partnership of 107 runs to take the away side closer to the target. When Harmanpreet Kaur came out to bat at the fall of Mandhana's wicket, India still needed 87 runs. The Indian captain tried to take her team closer to the target with a sense of calmness but her innings was cut short by a dubious LBW decision.

Kaur tried to sweep a delivery from Nahida Akter in the 34th over. However, the ball struck her pad and went into the hands of first slip. The umpire deemed she was out LBW. The 34-year-old was furious after the call and reacted by destroying the stumps with her bat. On her way back, she seemed to gesture that the ball hit her bat first. Later in the game, India's No. 11 Meghna Singh was given caught behind with the scores level. The pacer seemed unhappy with that call as well, however, her reaction wasn't as extreme as her captain's.

After the match, Harmanpreet Kaur lambasted the umpires for some of the controversial decisions during the game. She also said that the next time India tour Bangladesh, they will keep the level of umpiring in mind and prepare accordingly.

"I think a lot of learning for us from the game. Even apart from the cricket, the kind of umpiring that was happening we were very surprised. The next time we come to Bangladesh we will make sure we have to deal with this type of umpiring and prepare ourselves accordingly," Kaur said at the post-match presentation ceremony.

"They (Bangladesh) batted really well, batted according to the situation. They were taking those singles which were very crucial. In between we leaked a few runs but we controlled the game very well when we were batting but as I mentioned earlier some pathetic umpiring was done we are really disappointed about some decisions given by the umpires."
