The Shikhar Dhawan-led Punjab Kings seem determined to do whatever it takes to win the ongoing clash of the Indian Premier League with Delhi Capitals at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala. The PBKS team management took the bold decision of asking their batter Atharva Taide to retire out in a move to send in Jitesh Sharma.

Atharva was batting on 55* off 42 balls but the management seemed to have a problem with his strike rate as he was unable to clear the ropes with ease and hence it is believed that they asked Jitesh to join Liam Livingstone in the middle and asked Atharva to retire out.

Atharva's strike rate was just above 130 and the situation demanded PBKS to go hell for leather in order to scale the target of 214 and hence the Trevor Bayliss-led management decided to give Jitesh the license to go all guns blazing as Jitesh is known for tonking the ball many a mile.

Taide had hit five fours and two sixes in his knock but was not able to complement his batting partner at the other end - Liam Livingstone.

Rilee Rossouw demolishes PBKS' bowling line-up

The South African batter Rilee Rossouw finally came good for Delhi Capitals in match no. 64 of the ongoing IPL. Rossouw demolished Punjab's bowling attack and had most of their bowlers ducking for cover.

Rossouw arrived after the fall of David Warner's wicket in the 11th over and went berserk. He punished the PBKS bowlers and hammered them to all parts of the park whenever they erred in terms of their line and length.

Rossouw scored an unbeaten 82 off just 37 balls and hit six fours and as many sixes during the course of his knock. His magnificent knock propelled Capitals to a mammoth total of 213 runs. He scored his runs at a jaw-dropping strike rate of 221.62 and was in no mood to spare anyone.
