The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to provide a new facet to its previously held Women’s 45-over competition. The cup was contested by three sides: Blasters, Challengers, and Dynamites under the Pakistan Cup Women’s Cricket Tournament banner. To support and promote women’s cricket, the PCB has included six regional sides in the competition that will be held in a double-league 50-over format.

With the new makeover, the league is set to be hosted in Faisalabad with every team getting at least 10 matches each.
