With the current situation involving the renovation of the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, the National Stadium in Karachi, and the Rawalpindi International Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi for the Champions Trophy which will be hosted by Pakistan next year, there were reports floating around as to the Pakistan-England series being conducted in either of the UAE or Sri Lanka.
However, the ongoing speculations regarding the same were quashed by the chairperson of the Pakistan Cricket Board, Mohsin Naqvi, after he clarified that Multan and Rawalpindi will be hosting the Test series.
"The home Test series against England will be held in Multan and Rawalpindi. We are in touch with the England board and they are satisfied," stated Naqvi, as quoted by Cricket Pakistan.

Champions Trophy will be held in Pakistan, we are in touch with the BCCI Secretary: Naqvi
Naqvi also went on to confirm that the ninth installment of the Champions Trophy will be conducted in Pakistan, contrary to reports which were suggesting otherwise, with there being ubiquitous conjecturing regarding the participation of India in the tournament.
"Champions Trophy will be held in Pakistan, we are in touch with the BCCI Secretary. [We are] also in contact with the boards of the teams participating in the Champions Trophy," added Naqvi.
For the uninitiated, the 2025 edition of the Champions Trophy will be the first ICC event to be hosted by Pakistan since the 1996 World Cup was co-hosted by Pakistan along with neighbouring countries, India and Sri Lanka.
As for what lies ahead for Pakistan in terms of their cricketing schedule, they will have to wait until October to present some sort of difference in terms of performance, and a significantly better one as compared to how they fared against Bangladesh in their recently-concluded two-match Test series where they were dominated and conquered convincingly, extending their winless streak at home to 10 red-ball games.
