Ayush Badoni and Priyansh Arya set the Delhi Premier League ablaze with their phenomenal partnership of 286 runs - the highest in the history of T20 cricket. The duo wreaked havoc upon North Delhi bowlers, as they smashed a combination of 29 sixes during their stay at the crease. Priyansh eventually smacked 120 runs off 50 deliveries while Badoni ransacked 165 off just 55 balls.
Priyansh also hit six sixes during an over, which broke several records in domestic cricket. However, despite all the runs and accolades, Priyansh is focused on improving his game and taking one match at a time. He clarified that the Indian Premier League (IPL) is something that he wants to play but isn’t thinking too much about it as it would put added pressure on him.

The youngster also mentioned that he is eager to do well and win matches for his state in the upcoming Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, which is slated to begin on November 23.
“As far as T20Is are concerned, I’m seriously focused on the upcoming season of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. That would be a great opportunity to represent my state. So, my aim will be to perform there and win matches for my team. Not thinking that far, actually. IPL auction is huge and bringing that in mind is equivalent to throwing yourself under pressure. So, I’m not thinking about that at the moment,” Priyansh was quoted as saying by News18.
The youngster is also focused on being more consistent. He also wants to better up his running in between the wickets and noted that he won’t compromise on his aggressive batting.
“I’ve worked on being consistent. The only change that I’ve made to my batting is running more between the wickets. So, I’m working on that a bit more,” Arya said about the change in his style coming into the DPL. I’m trying to play attacking cricket as much as possible. My aim is to contribute to the team in the best possible manner. Not thinking much about my strike rate,” Priyansh said.
