Day 4 of the ongoing fourth Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT 2024-25) has been a roller coaster for both Australia and India. After the visitors posted a total of 369 runs in the first innings, Australia came out to bat and the top order quickly succumbed to Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj’s brilliance.

The likes of Sam Konstas, Steve Smith, and Travis Head had to head back to the dressing room early, but Marnus Labuschagne stood firm. The star batter dodged many close shaves, one of which visibly frustrated the Indian team. A similar moment from the 54th over of the second innings went viral, when Bumrah’s delivery landed in Rishabh Pant’s hands, narrowly missing Labuschagne’s bat.

Hence, in the aftermath, Jasprit Bumrah called the Australian one of the luckiest cricketers. As a result, the same moment has been going viral all over social media.

"Probably the luckiest player I have seen in my entire life," Bumrah was caught saying that on the stumps mic while walking back to bowl.
