'Proud of you' - Suryakumar Yadav heaps praise on Sarfaraz Khan

Rest of India batter Sarfaraz Khan has earned praise from India's middle-order batter Suryakumar Yadav for his stupendous red-ball form. Suryakumar's word of praise came after Sarfaraz played a sensational knock scoring 138 off 178 balls in the ongoing Irani Cup against Saurashtra. His knock included as many as 20 boundaries and two sixes.
The right-handed batter guided his side to safe shores by anchoring the innings well as Rest of India had lost quick wickets initially. Prior to their (ROI's) innings, Saurashtra fell like nine pins and managed to score a mere 98 after some brilliant bowling by the ROI bowlers.
Skipper Hanuma Vihari and Sarfaraz khan built a solid partnership with an unbeaten stand of 187 runs on Day 1 to take the score to 205/3, extending their lead to 107.
Suryakumar was delighted with Sarfaraz's performance and heaped praise on the budding player. Sarfaraz was able to pick up the length quickly and it enabled him to play a long innings on a testing pitch.

Impressed with the youngster’s performance, Suryakumar took to social media to salute the show put by the right hander. Suryakumar uploaded a picture praising the young lad on his century and captioned it "So so so Proud of you."

The special message shared by Suryakumar will certainly help the batter. Sarfaraz Khan has now overtaken Sir Don Bradman in terms of runs scored in first-class cricket. While Bradman scored 2927 runs in 22 FC matches, Sarfaraz has surpassed him after 43 FC innings. He has an average of 82.63 while the Australian legend has an insane average of 95.14.
Sarfaraz has been in sublime form lately scoring four centuries and two half-centuries in his last six outings. Moreover, the right hander is also keen on sealing a spot in the national side.
