R Ashwin is a no-nonsense cricketer, he takes everything in his stride: Ramiz Raja
Ashwin has been a key figure of the Indian red-ball setup for more than a decade.
Indian all-rounder Ravichandran Ashwin is not appreciated as much as he should be as per former Pakistan cricketer . Pointing out the attributes which he likes about the all-rounder, Raja also shed light on the cricketing IQ which Ashwin holds, something which has been witnessed both on the field while bowling or his off the field takes on the game.
"He (Ashwin) has not been celebrated as much as he should be as an all-rounder. If you look at his record, he is not less than anyone. He is a no-nonsense cricketer, takes everything in his stride. Even when he is the 12th man or is out of the team, there are no tantrums. He understands the team's situation and his responsibility," stated Raja, in a video on his YouTube channel.
"He is opinionated but not like he does a lot of critical analysis of anything off the field. He has an intelligent take on the game, which shows in his comments," he added.
