A notable sight was the return of the seasoned all-rounder, Ravindra Jadeja. The 35-year-old, who missed the first Test due to an upper back spasm, seemed determined, spending considerable time with both bat and ball.

Head coach Rahul Dravid and bowling coach Paras Mhambrey were seen putting fast bowler Prasidh Krishna through the paces. Krishna, who faced a tough initiation in the first match, received guidance on lines and lengths, hinting at a potential second chance in the playing XI.

Opener Yashasvi Jaiswal, after a modest performance in Centurion, engaged in a detailed conversation with Dravid, aiming for an improved showing in the upcoming match. Captain Rohit Sharma, too, faced a stern challenge in the nets, with Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin bowling several deliveries.
