In a major development for the Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA), the ad hoc committee, which is headed by Sri Ganganagar District Cricket Association (DCA) treasurer and BJP MLA Jaideep Bihani, assumed charge and a meeting was held where various methods of empowering cricket activities were discussed.

Furthermore, the RCA election, which was originally scheduled for April 8 by the executive committee, was cancelled during the meeting. The meeting was attended by the ad hoc panel members, which included Nagaur DCA president Dhananjai Singh Khimsar.

Rajasthan Royals continue to dominate IPL 2024

Speaking of a team associated with the RCA, Rajasthan Royals of the IPL (Indian Premier League) have been performing impeccably in the ongoing season of the tournament. Led by Sanju Samson, the side has competed in three games in the IPL 2024 so far.

Putting in exceptional showings, Rajasthan has managed to register wins in every clash so far. The inaugural champions have taken on the likes of Lucknow Super Giants, Delhi Capitals, and Mumbai Indians so far, and the team has defeated all three teams in convincing fashion.

With six points in three matches, Rajasthan Royals top the IPL 2024 standings, staying ahead of the likes of Kolkata Knight Riders, who are also unbeaten in the tournament.

The side will continue their IPL 2024 campaign by taking on Royal Challengers Bengaluru next at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on April 6. It is worth noting that RCB has won just one of the three games that they have played so far, and the side will not face yet another tough encounter against the Royals.
