Services have created a new record in the Ranji Trophy. In their game against Odisha, they bowled the opposition out for just 180 runs before posting 199 runs after batting in the first innings. Odisha retorted making 394 runs, while providing a target of 376 runs for them to chase. What seemed like a low-scoring game at the start turned out to be a batting-friendly wicket as the days passed.
Services openers, Suraj Vashisht and Shubham Rohilla closed Day 3 adding 46 runs. On the final day of the game, the duo did not budge and kept churning out runs without losing a wicket or breaking their partnership. They chased the target scoring 276 runs as Services won a memorable game. While Vashisht scored 154* (246 balls, 15 fours, one six), Rohilla dazzled with 209* (270 balls, 30 fours).

This also became the highest target chased by any team with 10 wickets in hand. This is also the highest fourth-innings total by any side without losing a wicket. Unfortunately, this effort did not yield much impact other than winning the game for Services. Both Odisha and Services failed to make it to the next stages of the tournament. Services finished fourth in Elite Group A, and Odisha ended in sixth spot.
