Next morning, the youngster continued his merry way to garner a masterly 155-run knock, which helped his side set a target for Chhattisgarh, although not a bigger one. His knock was flourished with a total of 11 boundaries and 12 towering maximums.

Notably, the all-rounder reached his century in just 56 balls, which entered the record books for the second-fastest hundred in Ranji Trophy's history only behind Rishabh Pant.
