The Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) might have had a hot and cold season in the ongoing IPL 2025 (Indian Premier League) season, but they have had some talented players in the mix, with one of them being right-arm mystery spinner Digvesh Rathi, who has been one of their best bowlers in the tournament so far.

The 25-year-old spinner is known for his accuracy and ability to contain the batters in the middle overs, through which he has been very successful. Rathi, in the nine games he has played, has taken nine wickets at an average of 29.11 and has an exceptional economy rate of 7.27 this season.

There has been a lot of praise for the Delhi-born player, especially from his fellow teammate and star leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi, who has not only opened up about enjoying bowling with him in tandem but also mentioned how his confidence in the game is very key as well.

"It's good to bowl with him in partnership. His confidence, I'm telling you, if you want to play cricket, you should have (Digvesh) Rathi's confidence in you. Being a bowler, you need to have that confidence. His confidence is the most successful key for him, making him successful here. He's always there for the battle. Whenever you give him the ball in the powerplay, he's always there," Bishnoi said during the pre-match press conference on Saturday.

It's an afternoon game, we think bowlers will get some help: Bishnoi

Besides, Ravi Bishnoi also talked about the conditions and how they might help the bowlers, since the game against the Mumbai Indians will be an afternoon match and could provide some assistance to the bowlers. He also mentioned that the wicket might be slightly dry at the start of the game.

"It's an afternoon game, we think bowlers will get some help as well. It's all a batter's game, as you've seen. So, I hope that bowlers also get something in tomorrow's afternoon game; maybe it will be a little dry or something like that," Bishnoi concluded.
