In a recent development, Ravindra Jadeja has responded to the allegations made by his father, Anirudh Singh Jadeja, concerning his strained relationship with his son and daughter-in-law Rivaba Jadeja. Anirudh Singh Jadeja had claimed that his bond with his son drastically changed post-Ravindra's marriage and blamed Rivaba for creating family discord. He expressed regret for steering Ravindra towards cricket and accused Rivaba of seizing their wealth and property. 

However, Ravindra Jadeja swiftly refuted these claims via Instagram and labelled them as unfounded. The cricketer dismissed the allegations, as he asserted that the ongoing antics are nothing but resorted towards tarnishing his wife’s image. Despite residing in the same city, Anirudh Singh Jadeja lamented his limited interaction with his son. Ravindra Jadeja's response comes hours after his father's statements grabbed headlines, marking a poignant twist in the family saga.

“All the things said in the absurd interview given to Divyabhaskar are meaningless and untrue. It is said on one side, which I reject. The attempts made to tarnish the image of my godmother are truly reprehensible and unbecoming. I also have a lot to say which is fine as long as I don't say it publicly. Thank you,” Jadeja wrote on his Instagram post (Translated via Google from Gujarati).

The saga revealed to be more personal than it seems if we delve deeper into the ground reality away from home, Rivaba Jadeja contested the 2022 Gujarat Assembly Elections for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from the Jamnagar (north) seat. Rivaba's political journey witnessed her pitted against the Congress party, which her sister-in-law Naynaba Jadeja was associated with.

Naynaba, despite criticising Rivaba for involving children in her campaign, reiterated her affection for her brother. Rivaba emerged victorious in her electoral debut, securing 88,835 votes, comprising 57.9 percent of the vote share. This political chapter will add another layer to the multifaceted dynamics within the Jadeja family, amidst India's cricketing pursuits.
