The Indian team is all set to hold a three-day camp at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata before the side’s white-ball series against England. According to the sources, the team will be assembling in Kolkata on January 18 and will be practising for three days before they go on to play their series opener in Kolkata.

It is worth noting that the team will be led by star batter Suryakumar Yadav, and under him, the Indian team has enjoyed success, winning the series against Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and South Africa.

The side has been shattering several records in the shortest format, and they will look to do so once again as they gear up to take on England in the white-ball series.

India aim to make most of upcoming series

Speaking of the upcoming series, India and England will lock horns across five T20I matches, and three ODI matches. The five T20Is will be played in Kolkata, Chennai, Rajkot, Pune, and Mumbai on January 22, 25, 28, 31, and February 2 respectively.

Furthermore, after the conclusion of the T20I series, both sides will lock horns across three ODI matches. The ODIs will be played in Nagpur, Cuttack, and Ahmedabad on February 6, 9, and 12, respectively. The Men in Blue will hope that the upcoming series against England could prove to be good practice for the upcoming Champions Trophy 2025.

It is worth noting that the Champions Trophy will be held in Pakistan and the UAE. Originally slated to be held in Pakistan only, a portion of the tournament will be held in the UAE due to the Indian team’s refusal to travel to Pakistan for the competition.

Led by Rohit Sharma, India will kick off their Champions Trophy campaign by taking on Bangladesh. Both sides will lock horns at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on February 20.
