Reports have emerged accusing the LSG officials and owner Sanjiv Goenka of missing the post-match presentation after the LSG vs PBKS game in Lucknow on Tuesday, April 1. As no official was present, doubts were raised about the intentions of the LSG officials. Multiple sources have reported in different ways.

One of the sources claimed that an official had to be sent for the presentation. To note, every major official and the LSG owner were present at the stadium. However, an official said there were no arrangements for their appearance.

"Mr Goenka was on the field, and there was no such arrangement at all," an official said as quoted by News18.

As a counter, a different source pointed out that Goenka's name was present in the list of guests to appear in the centre and was cancelled later. The source claimed an official had to be sent as Goenka's replacement.

"If that is the case, LSG should have sent one of their franchise officials for the post-match presentation," another source claimed. The issue has rocked the LSG camp amidst the animated scenes between the owner, captain, and other officials of LSG in their post-match discussions after their team's matches.

LSG aims to return to winning ways against MI

LSG is in a spot of bother after their first three matches of the IPL 2025, as they have two losses and a solitary win to their name. They will face MI in their upcoming game at home, which could be a tough challenge, considering the five-time champions are on the back of a massive win.

LSG faced a tough loss at home as PBKS humbled them with an all-round performance. The team has concerns in their bowling department due to a lack of experienced pacers in their lineup. The form of key players like Rishabh Pant, Aiden Markram, and David Miller is concerning too.
