The fourth Test between India and Australia slated to be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium might get to see a historic event as several reports suggest that India's prime minister might flip the coin at the time of toss.

PM Modi is likely to be present at the historic event and will also have Australian prime minister Anthony Albanese for company.

As per several reports (though unconfirmed), Modi might not only watch the game but also give the coin a flip in the centre before the start of the game.

India one win away from securing WTC final berth

India are currently leading the four-match Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2-1 with one game to go in Ahmedabad. If they win the fourth Test then they will join the Aussies in the WTC final. The hosts have not batted the way they were expected to in the series.

The entire series has witnessed only one century and that came from the willow of India's skipper Rohit Sharma in the first Test in Nagpur. Since then the Indian batting has looked out of sorts and only all-rounder Axar Patel has looked impressive with the bat in hand.

Axar has scored 185 runs across three games at an impressive average of 92.50, including two half-centuries. He has put together some valuable partnerships down the order with the Indian tailenders and rescued the team from multiple precarious situations during the series.

Australia have their own set of woes to handle. Regular skipper Pat Cummins is not going to be available for the fourth Test either as he is tending to his unwell mother. Hence, Steve Smith will again be seen leading the Australian team in the Ahmedabad Test. The inclusion of Matthew Kuhnemann has worked wonders for the visitors and has added depth to Australia's spin attack.
