Nepal script history with qualification for Asia Cup 2023
One of the biggest highlight points for Nepal this year has been their qualification for the forthcoming Asia Cup 2023. In doing so, the national team booked their spot in the event alongside rival teams such as India and Pakistan in Group A. In addition to this, the top-three finishes of Nepal, UAE and Oman at the Premier Cup effectively guarantee that they will compete in the forthcoming ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup in July.
Furthermore, Nepal will also take on 'A' Teams of five Full Members from the area in the event. The ACC is yet to announce the schedule for the Asia Cup 2023 and also the final hosting venue of the event due to the ongoing tensions between the PCB and the BCCI.
